![]() ![]() Yeah, forums are declining, but one of TUS and TREZ's biggest flaws IMO are the lack of a mobile site. Why stick to video games, friend? Why not have a bit of everything? Any forum that sticks to a single topic will die, that's easy to see. Let it lie.Īnd in general, always ask permission from the creators before latching onto somebody else's stuff, even if you think they don't want it anymore. We put hundreds, if not thousands of hours into building it, maintaining it, managing it and producing the best content on the internet about the Battle Network franchise. I appreciate that you loved The UnderSquare. There are already better places for that, and there is no incentive for users to join when they already have their active places to post. It wouldn't be big enough if it covered every CAPCOM property, or every videogame ever. The Undersquare, even if it were expanded to all of Megaman, would not be big enough. ![]() If you look at a giant popular forum today, it is almost assuredly over a decade old and has a critical mass to be self-sustaining, and is also incredibly broad in its scope. Webforums in general are on the decline as a communication tool. The moment in time where a website dedicated to Battle Network is going to be a thing thousands of daily users care about has passed. For example, if an artist hosts their art on Imgur, and somebody posts a link to that art, the mods are likely to assume the art has been rehosted unless OP tells us otherwise. We're asking this so that the mods can verify that the post was linked from the source, which can be tricky if OP does not explicitly state that somehow. In addition, submitters must also post a comment linking to the source on their submissions as well. If someone wants to post art, they need to find the source first, and link to that. That means no rehosting, no hotlinking, and no claiming that you couldn't find a source or asking for help finding one after you've already posted the art. When someone submits non-OC art, they must link directly to the source in the submission link itself. Cross posting from other Subs IS allowed however as long as it's on topic. No low effort posts, posts aimed to just gain quick karma. No linking ROMs files, you can post links to patch files, but not to ROMs. Provide credit to any content that is not your own, be it artwork or writers, always credit the original source.
